Departure: From the primary school car park, at the entrance to the town of Job, take the street alongside the school which goes back onto the D66 and take the street opposite. At the end of the street, turn left. At the cross, continue straight along the cemetery (view to the right of Mont Cornillon).

1. At the chapel, continue straight on for 800 m, avoiding turning left at the edge of the woods. At the crossroads, turn left onto Chemin des Replats. At the hamlet of Replats, go down the tarmac path and at the crossroads, continue right on the road to the hamlet of Chabriers. Cross it to the village of Vialette.

2. At the cross, at the entrance to Vialette, turn left to cross the stream and go up the road. The road becomes a path, continue straight on up the St-Nicolas valley.

3. On the road going to Tour-Goyon, continue on the road slightly to the left (view of the hamlet of La Forie and its bell tower opposite, the Volpie rock and the Forez mountains on the left). At another road, cut it to take the asphalt path opposite towards Lachamp.

4. In the hamlet of Lachamp, before the last house, take the path on the left which goes up. At the road, at a bend, take it opposite and join a road which you follow straight on until the D66. Follow it to the left for 100 m (view of the Ambert plain on the left).

5. At the turn (be careful! traffic), cross it, at a cross, take the first road on the right which goes up towards Partilles. Cross the hamlet (beautiful farmhouse). 150 m later, at a wrought iron cross (known as the Orme cross), go down the path on the left. At the crossroads of several paths, continue right. Cross the Volpie stream and continue on the same path. Walk along the Lafont estate(entrance marked with a remarkable cross)to reach the village of La Souche. At the road, continue right and enter the hamlet.

6. At the wooden cross on a stone base, turn left to continue straight towards Job(view opposite the Chapelle des Peux, the Job bell tower and the castle). At the D66, take it opposite for 20 m then take the first path which climbs sharply to the right to reach the apse of the church. Go around the church and take the D66 on the left to reach the school car park.
