A spacious stone house for family stays
3 bedrooms: 2 double beds, 2 twin beds
1 family bathroom with bath and shower, plus a separate toilet
Maison Marthe is a former wine merchant’s house, built from local stone and carefully restored for families and groups of friends. Stone walls, exposed beams and traditional floors preserve its historic character, while light-filled rooms and modern amenities provide all the comfort needed for a stay of up to six guests.
Downstairs, the fully equipped kitchen, dining area and lounge form a generous open-plan living space where everyone can cook, play and spend time together. Large windows fill the house with daylight. After exploring the mountains, forests and streams of the Livradois-Forez, settle around the wood-burning stove for a peaceful evening.
Upstairs are three welcoming bedrooms: one with a king-size bed, another with a double bed and a third with two single beds. The house also has a separate office overlooking the countryside and a second workspace in one of the bedrooms. A bathroom with a bath and shower, a separate toilet, Wi-Fi and equipment for babies and young children make family stays especially easy.
The balcony is a wonderful place for morning coffee while the village and hills awaken. In the garden, children can play while adults dine outside, read in the shade or enjoy an evening drink as the sun lowers over the mountains. Spacious, authentic and welcoming, Maison Marthe is an ideal base for discovering the Livradois-Forez Regional Natural Park and enjoying unhurried time together.
