Départ : Du parking, longer le cimetière par la gauche. À la petite route, monter à gauche. 100 m plus loin, au niveau d’un virage à gauche, quitter la route pour monter à droite sur un
chemin. À la piste, la suivre à droite pendant 200 m et au carrefour de quatre chemins, emprunter le chemin de droite jusqu’au hameau des Boursis.
1. Au hameau, monter à gauche sur la D309 (four à pain). 150 m plus loin, quitter la D309 pour prendre à gauche direction Clairmatin. Traverser le hameau (four à pain à droite) en gardant toujours tout droit la petite route. Au carrefour, traverser la route pour prendre en face, puis 100 m après, emprunter la deuxième sente à droite.
2. À la grande piste, la suivre sur la gauche (point de vue sur la chaîne des Puys, le massif du Sancy, la Limagne, et Clermont-Ferrand). Au carrefour, au goudron, suivre la route en face. 300 à 400 m après, prendre le chemin à gauche qui entre dans les bois. Puis 100 m après, tourner à droite sur un chemin, et de nouveau à droite 50 m plus loin, sur une sente qui serpente dans les bois. Quitter le chemin pour emprunter un sentier à gauche.
3. Rejoindre une grande piste, la couper pour prendre un chemin en face. Au goudron, prendre en face. Longer le château de Codignat à gauche et continuer toujours tout droit. Quitter la route pour prendre un chemin à gauche qui entre dans les bois (descente
dangereuse, ornières et gros cailloux). Au village de Taloup (grange en pisé), tourner à gauche sur la piste.
4. A la route (raccourci possible pour rejoindre Bort-l’Etang en prenant à gauche), tourner à droite (ignorer la route à gauche qui va à Basset) et continuer toujours tout droit (vue sur le château de Mauzun en face). À la D212, la traverser pour prendre la petite route en face (direction les Andrauds). À l’entrée des Andrauds, au niveau de la mare et de la croix en fer, tourner à droite (possibilité d’aller voir le four à pain en continuant tout droit) puis de nouveau à droite juste après une grange en pisé. Au carrefour, tourner à gauche (vue sur le château de Mauzun à droite).
5. Au carrefour suivant, tourner à droite. À l’intersection avec un chemin à droite, continuer en face et poursuivre jusqu’à la route. La suivre à droite puis suivre la route à gauche jusqu’à la D309. Tourner à droite sur quelques mètres.
6. Suivre le chemin tout de suite à gauche. Traverser Lance et continuer tout droit afin de suivre un chemin de terre à droite pendant 1,5 km. Monter le premier chemin à gauche puis, à la patte d’oie, tourner à gauche.
7. Tourner sur le chemin de gauche et emprunter, après 500 m, un chemin descendant à gauche. Traverser le petit ruisseau et continuer sur le chemin principal qui tourne à droite avant de remonter dans les bois. Au carrefour en T, juste avant les étangs, emprunter le chemin de gauche et continuer jusqu’à la D212. La traverser et prendre le chemin en face menant à Guillaumont.
8. Juste après la croix, tourner à droite et suivre la route. Au carrefour suivant, tourner de nouveau à droite. Suivre le premier chemin de terre à gauche et 250 m plus loin, virer à gauche. En face du circuit de karting, tourner à gauche. Au niveau de chez Laire, suivre le chemin à droite. Au Beurrier, tourner à gauche et longer l’école maternelle. À l’église, tourner à droite sur la D309 pour retrouver le point de départ.

Departure: church square. Head towards the D 906. Cross it to take the road opposite (D 308 - Be careful with fast traffic). At the cross, continue straight ahead and reach Bel-Air. In the hamlet, go down the grassy path opposite. 1. Take the D 44 on the left; cross the bridge and, 100 m further, go up the small road on the right. Cross Genestoux along the castle and keep the same road. The road becomes a path that we follow straight on. Always follow the main path. At the tarmac road, turn left and join Les Pierres. 2. In the hamlet, pass between 2 houses then turn left onto the road towards Gaillard. In the bend, continue on the road to the right. Cross the town; at the exit, just after the last house, turn right. At the entrance to Coussat, before the first house, take the path on the left. Go down to the bottom of the village and take the path which goes to the right between the houses. At the first intersection, turn left. At the next intersection, continue straight on then, at the next one, continue straight on. 3. At the road, turn left then, 30 meters further, turn right. In the hamlet of Bournoux, continue straight on. At the bread oven, continue to the right. At the bottom of the village, at the road, turn right towards Coulaud. Before the first houses, at the “Give way” sign, turn left. Follow this path (steep climb) to the hamlet of Provarel. Cross the hamlet then, after the last house, leave the road which goes up to the right and take the path on the left (viewpoint over the Puyde-Dôme and the Puys chain). 4. At the hamlet of C h e i x, continue straight on the path which goes down, then up. At the road, turn right. 50 meters further, at the transformer, take the road on the left. Follow the D 44 on the left. 200 meters further, leave the road and take a path on the right in the fields. At the crossroads, follow the path on the right. In the hamlet, take the road on the right. 5. 500 meters later, at the crossroads, turn right to cross La Brousse (bread oven) and continue straight on the tarmac to join the D 906 (be careful with fast traffic). Cross it to take the street opposite. Walk alongside the “Les Toits de la Dore” housing estate, the cemetery and continue to the railway line. At the railway line, turn left and reach the church of Néronde sur Dore.

Brevet des Quatre Vents (circuit route n°14)
Ce circuit est l’un des plus courts pour le réaliser en étoile au départ du centre national de Cyclotourisme. Il présente l’avantage d’emprunter de nombreuses petites routes très peu fréquentées. Toutefois, cela impliquera de bien suivre le descriptif pour ne pas s’égarer. Enfin, la portion de route suivant Néronde requiert la plus grande prudence, notamment lorsqu’on quitte la D906 en virant à gauche.
